Welcome to the Blogspot the 2010 Armadale Christian College community service overseas trip. Again this year we are travelling to Manila, the Philippines and we will be going via Brunei. The purpose of this trip is for upper secondary students to experience the culture of another country and assist in numerous areas where help is needed. Currently these areas involve teaching, building and food preparation and distribution to slum areas.
Whilst the majority of the trip will involve working in the above mentioned areas, there will be opportunities for the students to experience a jungle training camp in Subic Bay and visit the historically significant World War II military base of Corregidor. Other ministry areas include visiting a local prison to run music and craft activities and participating in a basketball game at a local high school.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to your comments and prayers during the trip. Remember the Blogspot will be updated every evening where possible.
God Bless
